Ivanhoé Cambridge acquires a 9,000 m² office building in Nanterre, France, developed by Bouygues Immobilier
Ivanhoé Cambridge acquires, through a forward funding transaction, HUB 247, a 9,000 m2 office building under construction in the Nanterre Cœur Université eco-district developed by Bouygues Immobilier. Completion of the project is expected in early 2020.
This high-quality office project is located adjacent to the new Nanterre Université station served by regional rail lines A and L, in an extension of La Défense and the Terrasses de l’Arche. It fits in perfectly within this new lifestyle hub and eco-district blending culture, leisure and services.
It will benefit from large, luminous floor areas, greenery-filled terraces and a very dynamic neighbourhood. Designed by the François Leclercq architecture firm, the building will provide efficiency, comfort, health, well-being, energy performance and respect for the environment.
“We are delighted with this new transaction, which perfectly illustrates our ability to invest in high value-creation projects,” said Karim Habra, Head of Europe at Ivanhoé Cambridge. “This transaction is aligned with our overall strategy in France and in Europe, which consists of developing a diversified portfolio of core and high-quality assets. The project’s premier geographic location in the heart of a mixed-use neighbourhood, its architectural design and its environmental attributes ideally fit our investment criteria.”

Great importance is given to sustainable development, and is targeting the certifications NF HQE Bâtiments Tertiaires ‘Passeport Exceptionnel,’ BREEAM Europe ‘Excellent’ level and BEPOS-Effinergie.”
