Access to information
Accessing a CDPQ document
The Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (R.S.Q., c. A-2.1), allows any person to obtain, upon request, access to documents held by a public body such as CDPQ. CDPQ may, however, invoke certain exceptions set out in the Act.
To request access to a document held by CDPQ
Write to the person in charge of access to information whose contact details are provided below.
To ensure your request is admissible
It needs to be sufficiently precise so that we can identify the document you wish to access.
Upon receipt of your request
You will receive a written notice indicating the date on which your request was received and the time expected to process your request. Under the Act, CDPQ is required to respond to your request within 20 days of receiving it. This may be extended by a period of no more than 10 days, however, if the request cannot be processed without impeding the normal course of operations. If that is the case, you will be notified in writing of the delay.
If CDPQ refuses your request in whole or in part
In full or in part, you are entitled under the Act, to submit a request for a review of CDPQ’s decision to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. Your application must be made in writing within 30 days following CDPQ’s decision.
