Ghislain Parent has over 30 years of experience in finance, accounting and corporate management. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, investor and rating agency relations, project management and international development.
Mr. Parent served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at National Bank of Canada for over 10 years. Previously, he was Executive Vice-President, Finance at CDPQ from 2002 to 2010. Prior to that, he worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Laurentian Bank.
Mr. Parent sits on the Board of Directors of the Montréal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM). He was also the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Montréal International District for five years and spent many years working with Intégration Jeunesse Québec.
Mr. Parent holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Accounting, from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. He is also a Fellow member of the Quebec CPA Order.
