Natarajan Venkatram

N. Venkatram (Venkat) is Country Chair, CDPQ India. He is an active member of CDPQ’s international management team, contributing to the execution of CDPQ Global’s strategic vision, notably by supporting several asset classes, including infrastructure and private equity. He also works with the region’s senior leadership team to strengthen relationships with the financial and business communities, in addition to representing CDPQ with key stakeholders across government, regulatory bodies and industry associations.

Mr. Venkat has more than 40 years of experience in capital mobilization, mergers and acquisitions, governance and strategy. Before joining CDPQ in 2024, he spent 30 years at Deloitte, including eight years as CEO and Managing Partner of Deloitte South Asia. During this mandate, the organization was able to grow its revenues over 4.5 times.

Mr. Venkat holds an accounting degree and is a Chartered Accountant. He currently sits on the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Takeover Panel, the Corporate Bonds and Securitization Advisory Committee and the High-Powered Committee on Settlement Orders and Compounding Offenses.
