The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec appoints Caroline St-Jacques Director General of Public Affairs and Community Relations in Québec City
The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is pleased to appoint Caroline St-Jacques as Director General, Public Affairs and Community Relations. Ms. St-Jacques will be responsible for handling business community relations in the Québec City region. She is also responsible for monitoring ongoing issues and establish relationships at various levels of government in Québec, Canada and key markets where the Caisse operates and has major investments.
“This appointment comes on the heels of the Caisse’s efforts to enhance its communications and strengthen its Québec City presence,” said Denis Couture, Caisse Executive Vice-President, Public Affairs. “Caroline’s experience with industry associations, coupled with her thorough knowledge of the governmental and regulatory environment, will certainly be very useful in ensuring a better outreach with our clients and partners in the Québec City region.”

As Vice-President, Public Affairs at the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec, Caroline St-Jacques had an extensive knowledge of economic issues and Québec business. She also held various management positions, primarily at Radio-Canada and the CRTC.
Caroline St-Jacques will take her post at the Caisse’s office in Québec City.
