Charles-Édouard Mariolle has been a Senior Director in CDPQ’s team of infrastructure experts in Australia since 2018. The assets under his responsibility include energy transmission networks and transportation infrastructure.
Mr. Mariolle possesses extensive experience in energy infrastructure, project finance and corporate governance. Before joining CDPQ, he was Deputy Head of Renewable Energy Infrastructure Funds at Mirova, Natixis’ asset manager specialized in ESG investments. Prior to that, he founded ECDS, a renewable energy project developer whose portfolio was acquired in 2011 by an infrastructure fund, and he was a Senior Manager at Deloitte.
With a Master’s in Finance and Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, he also earned a Master’s in Engineering from École nationale supérieure d’informatique et de mathématiques appliquées de Grenoble, as well as a Master’s in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and sits on the Boards of Directors of TransGrid, the New South Wales electricity transmission network, and of Northwest Rapid Transit, which operates the Sydney Metro.
