Maxime Aucoin is Executive Vice-President and Head of Total Portfolio. Since March 2018, he has headed portfolio construction, asset allocation and currency management activities and provided leadership for new investment strategies. He co-chairs the Strategy and Execution Committee, which oversees the strategic positioning of CDPQ’s total portfolio. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment-Risk Committee.
Mr. Aucoin was previously Senior Vice-President, Total Portfolio and Vice-President, Strategy. Before joining CDPQ in 2012, he worked for management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and Cirque du Soleil.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from HEC Montréal. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Mr. Aucoin is a member of the Steering Board of the Centre d’études et de recherches internationales de l’Université de Montréal (CERIUM) and the major fundraising campaign committee of the Fondation Madeli-Aide pour l’éducation. From 2013 to 2017, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taking Root, an innovative reforestation non-profit.
